MLB All-Star Charity Dance-A-Thon

On July 9th Major League Baseball will kick off their All-Star events by hosting the first-ever MLB All-Star Charity Dance-A-Thon at the Phoenix Convention center. This event invites fans to participate in a dance-a-thon led by Glee's very own acclaimed choreographer Zach Woodlee. He and other VIP guests will also serve as judges contest judges. The grand prize winner of the contest will win an exclusive meet-and-greet opportunity on the set of Glee. In addition to dancing there will also be a variety activities for all ages including: DJs, games, special guest entertainment, MLB All-Star prizes and more. Proceeds from the dance-a-thon will benefit Stand Up to Cancer, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"The All-Star Charity Dance-A-Thon will give our fans a new opportunity to take away a lasting All-Star memory. If fans don't have a ticket to the ballpark, they can still be a part of the 2011 All-Star experience," said Tim Brosnan, Major League Baseball Executive Vice President, Business.

Most importantly participants in the dance-a-thon will have the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
