Recently, People Magazine captured its readers' hearts with a story about a spirited 14-year-old boy named Jesse who had been caring for his single, invalid mother. The story received such an overwhelming response from readers that People Magazine established the "OUR CHILDRENfirst" Fund, a donor-advised fund administered by the Entertainment Industry Foundation. In addition to significant support from People Magazine, concerned individuals are invited and encouraged to make contributions to this fund that will benefit children like Jesse. The fund also makes grants to non-profit organizations that help children.
