Teaching Garden
Professional volleyball player Gabrielle Reece, renowned athlete Laird Hamilton along with Teaching Garden founder and Hollywood philanthropist Kelly Chapman Meyer launched the nation’s second Teaching Garden at the Will Rogers Learning Community School. A national program bringing an innovative, hands-on nutrition and fitness curriculum to young children, the event brought together Create The Good volunteers and talent for a day of service to teach students how a few small changes in diet and exercise can make life-saving differences.
The day of service is part of a larger effort within AARP Create The Good and EIF’s iParticipate volunteer campaigns.
