End Hunger Network, Co-founder
The End Hunger Network (EHN) is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by actor Jeff Bridges and other concerned individuals from
the Los Angeles entertainment community to create awareness and resources to end world hunger. During the succeeding decade, the EHN
helped develop and produce a number of innovative educational and fundraising media events, including the historic "Live Aid Concert."
In 1990, the EHN began to focus its efforts on ending hunger in the United States, undertaking many important events, productions and
programs including "Prime Time to End Hunger", "Hidden in America" and "Fast Forward to End Hunger". These efforts have raised
millions of dollars for local hunger organizations throughout America and heightened our nation's awareness of the persistence of
hunger in our country.
