Description

People play a critical role in advancing new treatments for colorectal cancer by participating in medical research studies and clinical trials. Finding eligible people for these trials can be difficult. Your involvement can provide important clues about colorectal cancer, and help us identify better treatments and possible cures.

Currently, it may take 8 months or longer to fill clinical research trials; however, by reaching large numbers of people, NCCRA works to reduce the lengthy enrollment periods. Sponsored by Pharmacia Oncology, NCCRA's Clinical Trials Resource Center helps streamline the enrollment of qualified candidates for medical studies. Our goal is to help trials reach their conclusions more quickly, and literally move science forward.

To learn about promising clinical trials in progress and how you or a loved one can participate, call toll-free 866-724-4100 or visit: www.oncolink.com/national/nccra/survey_intro.cfm

The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health is also conducting clinical trials.
