CELEBRITIES 'SIGN ON' TO HELP IN THE
FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER

WHAT:
Celebrities have autographed and decorated denim pockets that will be auctioned off to help raise money and awareness for Lee National Denim Day which benefits the Women's Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).
The custom-designed denim pockets will be auctioned on www.charityfolks.com beginning September 18 through Lee National Denim Day, which is held October 6. All proceeds raised from the auction will benefit the Women's Cancer Programs of EIF.
Funds will be used to support a groundbreaking scientific project to detect breast cancer in its earliest stage. They will also help accelerate treatment research and increase patient access to some of the most significant clinical trials in the nation, as well as continue to support grassroots programs across the country.
Through Lee National Denim Day, participants are encouraged to wear their jeans to work in exchange for a $5 donation on October 6. The fundraiser, which enters its second decade this year, has raised more than $61 million for the fight against breast cancer since its inception. Last year, more than 29,000 companies across the nation participated in the fundraiser.
