Steve Sadove, CEO and Chairman of Saks Fifth Avenue, and special guest Brooke Shields hosted "Viva la Cure" to launch the 2007 Key To The Cure campaign. Cocktails at the legendary rink at Rockefeller Center-featuring pink-tinted ice for the occasion-celebrated the launch of Saks Fifth Avenue's KEY TO THE CURE, a women's cancer initiative founded in partnership with EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund.

WHY:
In the 8 years since the inception of the Saks Fifth Avenue annual charity shopping event, now known as Key To The Cure, Saks Fifth Avenue, together with its vendors and partners, has raised more than $20 million. Working to continue this success in partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation and with the support from national sponsor, Mercedes-Benz USA, the money raised through Saks Fifth Avenue's KEY TO THE CURE campaign will benefit more than 50 charitable programs dedicated to finding new detection methods, treatments and, hopefully, a cure for women's cancers through EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund. Women's Cancer Research Fund was founded by Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg, along with co-founders Kelly Chapman Meyer, Anne Douglas, Quinn Ezralow, Marion Laurie, and Jamie Tisch.
