"One of my fraternity brothers was actually checked for breast cancer this past fall. He turned out to be fine, but the reality that men could get breast cancer jolted me into action," said Ebersol. "I'm thrilled to be able to join Lilly Tartikoff, the Entertainment Industry Foundation and James Perse to bring attention to the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and I hope everyone will buy a Get Hands On shirt to help this cause."
Willie and Elex are passionate about raising awareness and education about breast cancer which has a 98% survival rate if caught during stage one and hope to give people the tools to Get Hands On their own health. Each shirt will include a hangtag that has steps for performing a self-exam as well as additional information and resources about breast cancer.
"I've had the honor of knowing Willie his whole life," said Lilly Tartikoff. "I'm so proud to witness his passion for helping educate people about breast cancer and I'm so proud to work with him on this great cause."
"We are pleased to be a part of this amazing partnership with Get Hands On and James Perse," said Lisa Paulsen, President and CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. "We applaud Willie and Elex for taking a stand and helping to raise awareness."
