The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program

The Hollywood Reporter (THR) Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program (WIE) in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, pairs young women from under resourced high schools across Los Angeles with powerful women executives in entertainment.

Women in Entertainment mentors help prepare students for college and beyond. The program culminates each year with all mentees receiving scholarships to their college of choice and four mentees receiving early admission and full-ride scholarships to Loyola Marymount University and Chapman University. More than $14 million in scholarships has been disbursed to students participating in the program.

The Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program is a fiscally sponsored fund of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. In partnership with THR and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, EIF Careers Program will bring young women engaged in arts, media, and entertainment career pathway programs into the mentorship program, including those from the Roybal Film and Television Magnet, creating the next generation of college-educated and career ready women.
